The three-day international conference will be organized by Asia-Pacific Peace Research Association (APPRA) in collaboration with University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (India) and Indian Political Science Association.
The conference aims to discuss:
- How can we peace researchers from Asia-Pacific contribute to understanding and transforming the new conflicts and challenges we are facing?
- What are the new global power structures challenging peace?
- How can we create just, nonviolent and sustainable future of the world?
- How are new generations of scholars and activists in Asia-Pacific regions thinking new and innovative ways of tackling our contemporary challenges?
- To discuss the promising strategy to overcome the challenges in governance, peace and creating a non-violent living environment.
- To Examine many corelated issues in the area of governance, peace and non-violent sustainable future.
The conference aims to explore ways to enhance mutual understanding, dialogue, and collaboration among policy makers, scholars, activists, academia and others with vested interests on the development of bilateral relations, multilateral relations and international relations affected by the current pandemic and several challenging situations.
